2. Concurrent control phase

3. Post-control phase

4. Correction of deviation phase

1. Pre-control phase

It is a preventive phase. It keeps the problem from happening. Pre-controlling saves money and time. It is far better to take timely action before the actual problem appears. Pre-control is tantamount to prevention is helter than the cure.

2. Concurrent control phase

It is the phase when problem has not appeare4i and the activity is continuing. It is maintenance phase that is usual and routine. By maintenance problem is prevented.

3. Post-control phase

It is the poorest approach hut most common. Here the problem has occurred. It is costly and wasteful to renovate, repair, or rebuild. There are situations where no other approach can he used than post-control approach. Accounting and auditing are post control devices.

4. Correction of deviation Phase

Once the problem has appeared and the damage has taken place, deviation must be corrected to avoid further damage. Early corrective action will cause less damage and earlier accomplishment of goals. A stitch in time saves mine is a maxim that holds true here.
